The New Bike

This is the next platform of the Cornell Autonomous Bicycle Team. It is intended to be a more stable, reliable, and versatile platform than The Old Bike. The bike is still largely in the design phase, so wiki sections are limited to the current state of the bike.

Mechanical Components

General

Frame The frame is a ***cm KMC Trento with serial number ******. This frame is large enough to fit components in the diamond as well as expand with racks on the front and back for vision components.

The Frame of the New Bicycle

Wheels The wheels are 27 inches in diameter. The wheels are the primary driver of the bike as they convert the rotational motion of the motor to linear translation.

Tires The planned tires will be 27 inch road bike tires.
